Alive Studios was officially born in 2018. But the dream started way before that. When I was in college I always wanted to get into DJing. I grew up in a very musical family and fell in love with music right away.

Working at a community center while I was in college, we had many different events use our space. From weddings to birthday parties there was always something going on. These events would bring in Djs and I would be so intrigued by their lights, equipment, and mow-hawks and so I started thinking about what it would be like to be a DJ. Then I started hearing the music that the DJs were playing....I started hearing them talk over every song....I heard terrible transitions and I decided right then and there that I wanted to be a DJ.

But our style is a little different. Anyone can play music, any one can get on a mic and emcee, but it takes a certain type of person to be able to engage, read, and motivate a crowd. 

 

That is what Alive Studios is all about. Bringing the party to life, not just by the music being played but by the connections we build with the people. Music is great but building a relationship is special, and that is what Alive Studios is all about.
